Was this your new years resolution?
Are you struggling? Succeeding? Doing better than you ever thought you would? Facing specific challenges you didn't think you would?
Write me a letter and let me know. Share with our other readers your experiences.
Use this as your own therapy but also do something therapeutic to help others who may be experiencing the same struggle.
I'm approaching 600 days smoke free and doing better than I ever thought I would. I am, however, running out of things to share. I feel like I need a new shot of fresh blood to continue to help others who are now going through the same struggles I was meeting a year and half ago.
Someone PLEASE -- give me a shout out.

Congratulations on your progressing journey living smokeless! May you keep the vision of yourself living long & healthy, with full lung capacity & attending your grandchildren's college graduations! :D You're never too old to stop. My dad, who is 76, stopped smoking a year ago this past Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteA few statistics I ran across that are unbelievable with what we know of the negative consequences of tobacco:
* Approximately 80% of adult smokers began smoking before 18 years old.
* Everyday nearly 4,000 young people under 18 years of age try their first cigarette.
* Scientist estimate that environmental tobacoo smoke (ETS), also referred to as secondhand smoke, is responsible for approximately 3,000 lung cancer deaths per year among nonsmokers in the US.
* US estimates conclude that about 7.8 million people 12 years old and up currently use smokeless tobacco.
